In a rare reference to currency on the street, Telly wonders why he always pays for the tickets. He also suspects that Oscar fixed every other seat in the theater to break, so Oscar politely offers Telly his own seat, which turns out to be broken.
Their feature is "The Last Emperor." As with the actual movie, it's presented as a "big winner" and "based on a true story." In the film, a row of monosyllabic monster emperors appear in front of the Great Wall of China and demonstrate first and last. Oscar sleeps through the film, but decides he hated it based on the fact that Telly raves about it.
