The Sneels appeared in various episodes of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.
The puppets used for the characters had previously been seen on Fraggle Rock (with non-Seussian eyes and no large tufts of hair on their heads). The puppets returned as background creatures for Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, most notably providing backing vocals for "Once Upon a Time (I Knew My Name)" in the episode "Deep Dive." A baby Sneel also frightens Uncle Traveling Matt in the show's first episode.
