Snivelly was a green Frackle with black hair, angry eyes, and bird feet. He was one of six of Cosmo Scam's henchmen to masquerade as one of Santa's elves in The Great Santa Claus Switch, where he replaced Zippity.
Jim Henson originally designed the creature in a sketch with the moniker "Drip Snout."[1] The puppet was later modified with sadder eyes and without feet as Droop for The Muppets Valentine Show and subsequent productions.
Snivelly, along with Boppity and Gloat, appears in Muppets Meet the Classics: Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm's retelling of "The Golden Goose", titled "Fozzie's Super-Sticky Situation". The trio of Frackles stand in for the innkeeper's children from the original fairy tale, who are the first to get themselves stuck to Fozzie's golden owl. Notably, this story identifies Snivelly with she/her pronouns.
