Snow

Snow is a form of precipitation that typically falls during the winter seasons in regions closer to the polar zones as opposed to the Earth's equator. Comprised of ice crystals formed in clouds, significant snowfall can cover an outdoor environment in sheets of white, lending what could be considered an ethereal look to a landscape before its removal. Its consistency when accumulated also offers a number of opportunities for activities such as skiing, sledding, snowball fights, and building snowmen.
