Kermit at the 32nd Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony in 2001.
The Songwriters Hall of Fame is part of the National Academy of Popular Music and was founded in 1969 by Johnny Mercer, Abe Olman, and Howie Richmond.
Kermit the Frog performed at the 2001 ceremony, which honored inductees Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Gloria Estefan (among others).
