The South Bay Regional Polytechnic Institute for the Performing and Industrial Arts Nightschool (Downtown Campus as Seen in the Motion Picture Fame) is a university first mentioned in episode 108 of Muppets Tonight. Among their most notable alumni are Jason Alexander and Gonzo the Great.
The university features a number of extracurricular organizations, including at least one fraternity and a drama club, of which Gonzo and Jason were members. It was there the two met and attempted to produce their musical, Bats. The university also has their own sports teams, who would never win as the team chant would go on for so long (featuring the entire university name) that the games would be canceled due to darkness.
