Spaceships are vehicles built to withstand the elements of space. To date, most spaceships have been built for near-Earth orbit. But in fiction, spaceships can carry a crew deep into space to other planets and solar systems. Some of the most famous on-screen spaceships are the Enterprise from Star Trek, the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, and the TARDIS from Doctor Who.
