Spencer Speedy is a rapid individual who appeared in Episode 1179 of Sesame Street. As his name suggests, he is very speedy, rushing everywhere and speaking at a very quick pace.
He leaves his phonograph at the Fix-It Shop with a note asking for it to be fixed, but under Maria's inspection, she sees that it plays just fine. When Spencer rushes back to check on the progress, he tells her that because he likes all things fast, his record player must be fast as well. Maria manages to adjust it through fast-motion (speeding the videotape footage up), and Spencer declares that he's now in love.
