Spring Fever is a 2001 Sesame Street storybook.
Elmo, Zoe and Baby Bear are sick of winter, and they're happy when they hear the first songbird of spring. They're struck by "spring fever", and suddenly the birds drop a silver flute, a flower basket and a lute into their eager hands.
Elmo decides that the birds want to hear a song of spring, so the three friends march through the streets, playing, singing and scattering flowers. The landscape magically transforms as they pass -- buds appear on the trees, flowers bloom, the temperature rises, and lambs and ducks appear. Families appear in the park, eating picnics and playing games.
No scientific explanation is offered for this unlikely turn of events.
