Stacey Gordon (b. April 3) is an Arizona-based puppeteer and founder of "Puppet Pie," an online site where she creates custom puppet characters and performs live shows. She also hosts workshops and performs at festivals across the country. Gordon was brought onto Sesame Street in Season 47 as the performer of Julia.

Gordon was initially contacted by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, having previously met at a puppetry event, who put her in contact with the producers as they prepared to translate Julia from illustrated form to a puppet character on the show. After sending audition videos and auditioning in person at the New York City studios, Gordon was offered the role.[1] She had also connected with Pam Arciero, and co-credits her with the hire.[2]

As a child, she wanted to be a Twiddlebug.[2]
