Staleek is the emperor of the Scarrans. He appears in the final three episodes of Farscape and The Peacekeeper Wars.
As tensions rise between the Scarrans and Peacekeepers and the threat of wormhole weapons loom, Staleek has to consider a treaty with the PKs. When the wormhole weapon rumors turn out false, Staleek declares war on the Peacekeepers.
Staleek rose to power after killing his predecessor, War Minister Ahkna's father. As such, Staleek and Ahkna often come into conflict with each other. Following her failures at Katratzi, Staleek commands that Ahkna's orders are to be disregarded. Their relationship continues to be rocky throughout The Peacekeeper Wars. However, wanting to step aside to "oversee larger galactic governance issues," he offers her a chance to become empress, though she ends up dying.
At the end of the miniseries, Crichton finally launches his wormhole weapon. With the entire galaxy at stake, Staleek concedes, and the Scarrans and Peacekeepers make peace.
Staleek returns in the Farscape comic book, still the Scarran emperor. When the Kkore invade the galaxy and threaten to destroy the Scarran race, Staleek is forced to surrender, and he becomes their puppet ruler.
