Stanley is the maitre D' at the Dubonnet Club in The Great Muppet Caper. Either possessing or affecting a French accent, the dignified Stanley greets Lady Holiday as an old acquaintance and favored patron. He expresses admiration for her jewelry, and Lady Holiday later grows increasingly nervous, insisting that Nicky entrust the necklace to the headwaiter. A brief running gag focuses on Nicky's reluctance to tip Stanley.
