Steen Springborg (1954-2021) was a Danish actor who graduated from Århus theater school in 1974. For Fragglerne, the Danish dub of Fraggle Rock, he voiced Gobo, Junior Gorg, and Convincing John, among others, and also directed and co-translated the episodes. He voiced the narrator in Den Sorte Krystal (the 2013 dub of The Dark Crystal) and dubbed Peasemarsh in Sandtrolden (Five Children and It).
He was active in movies, TV and theatre. Other voice credits include Monsieur Hood in Shrek, Mr. Arrow in Treasure Planet, Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid, Renard Dumont on The Legend of Tarzan, and the Cheshire Cat in the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film.
In 2006, he was in the first non-English version of the musical The Producers at Det Ny Teater, alternating between Max Bialystock and Roger de Bris.
