Stephen Gately (1976-2009) was an Irish pop singer, songwriter and actor who was one of two lead singers of the pop group Boyzone. His West End stage credits include playing the Child Catcher in 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' at the London Palladium.
In 2007, he interviewed Miss Piggy for his show Film 24, as part of her promotional tour for the release of The Muppet Show: Season Two in the UK.
