Steve Hoffman was a singer and songwriter who provided the vocals for the Willie Wimple series on Sesame Street.
Hoffman was songwriter and lead singer/guitarist for the Mystic Astrologic Crystal Band, who cut two albums in the late sixties. He later sang the title theme for Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp and also wrote and sang lead (according to album releases, as Lance Link himself) for the show's simian band The Evolution Revolution. He continued to cut singles in the 1970s, wrote songs for the Rich Little movie Another Nice Mess (presenting Nixon as Oliver Hardy), and wrote the theme song for the Joe Don Baker movie Mitchell (showcased on Mystery Science Theater 3000).
