Steve Landesberg in Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Steve Landesberg (1936-2010) was a comic actor known for playing Detective Arthur Dietrich on Barney Miller.
In 1991, Landesberg performed the voice for Gary in the Dinosaurs episode "High Noon."
He appeared in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which included puppets built by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
A stand-up comic, Landesberg entered TV as a frequent performer in variety and sketch comedy series and specials, including The Many Faces of Comedy and Don Rickles: Alive and Kicking. Beyond Barney Miller, he was a regular on several short-lived series including Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers, Conrad Bloom, and Head Case (for which he also wrote). He made guest appearances on The Rockford Files, Everybody Hates Chris, The Golden Girls, Law & Order, When Things Were Rotten, and That '70s Show.
