- The Seagal produced 1992 action film Under Siege features a scene showcasing his main adversary, lead mercenary William Strannix (Tommy Lee Jones). Strannix misremembers a Muppet Show sketch featuring The Swedish Chef as a "Saturday morning cartoon": "Do you remember those two little shrimp coming in, riding in on those two little seahorses with two little hats, little chaps, little pistols - BAM BAM BAM - shooting back over their shoulders to rescue that lobster from the Swedish cook? Funniest thing I ever saw in my life."
- The Glimmer Man (1996), produced and with songs composed by Seagal, co-stars Keenen Ivory Wayans as Detective Campbell. Big Bird will pop out of one of these doors next."
