"Stop, Drop, and Roll" is a Sesame Street song written exclusively for the Sesame Street Fire Safety Project. The song is sung by Oscar the Grouch about what people should do if their clothes happen to catch fire - they need to stop what they're doing, drop to the floor, and roll around until the fire is out. The song is a spoof of the rock hit "Shake, Rattle and Roll."
The song was originally released on a record paired with the Sesame Street Fire Safety Resource Book, and has been included in the updated editions that followed.
