Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

"Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" is a poem written in 1922 by Robert Frost. It was published in 1923 in a volume titled New Hampshire.

Fozzie Bear attempts to recite it in episode 408 of The Muppet Show amidst Gonzo's interruptions to sing "Hernando's Hideaway".

In 1974, Grover read the poem in Out to Lunch.

In Episode 2718 of Sesame Street, Grouch poet Henry Wadsworth Wrongfellow recites his own version of the poem, entitled "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy, Windy, Horrible Evening" (with Oscar the Grouch providing the snow and wind).
