Strawberry Shortcake is a fruit and pastry-themed character originally created by Muriel Fahrion for American Greetings cards in 1977. Her edible world and friends were expanded through cartoons, dolls, and other merchandise. After her initial peak fame in the 1980s, the character has been revived and redesigned multiple times.
