Stuart Little is a 1945 children's novel by E. B. White. The story focuses on the title character, born to a human family but inexplicably physically resembling an upright mouse. Stuart's physical and mental development advance rapidly (walking and wearing a suit and cane when just a few days old). Various adventures follow, often involving miniature vehicles.
The book was loosely adapted for the 1999 live-action/CG film Stuart Little (in which he's an ordinary, if talking, mouse adopted by humans). The 2002 sequel Stuart Little 2 featured an animatronic falcon from Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
