"Sugar Plum Fairy Abby" is a song from the Sesame Street special, The Nutcracker: Starring Elmo & Tango. The tune is a reworked version of "The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker.
In Elmo's dream, he and Tango try to catch a mouse who has made off with Tango's squeak toy nutcracker. They end up in a giant garden, where three grumpy flowers refuse to let them pass. Abby Cadabby helps them out with the lullaby, which she learned from the Sugar Plum Fairy. As Elmo and Tango join in, the tune puts the flowers to sleep, allowing them to pass.
