Template:Designer Sundance is a lion who first appeared in The Muppet Show episode 320, where he fought Sylvester Stallone and sang "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" with him. He appeared as a full-body puppet in this episode and was performed by Dave Goelz.

He later appeared in episode 416 and episode 505. In these episodes, he appeared as a live-hand puppet and was performed by Jerry Nelson. He also appeared in The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years, sitting with the full-body monsters.

His name comes from episode 416, when he teamed up with a tiger as "Butch and Sundance", running away from an animal training act (in a reference to the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid).
