Susan Davis on Barney Miller
Susan Davis is an actress and voice artist who was heard in several Sesame Street animated segments beginning with the first episode, often for Ken Snyder Enterprises. She supplied female voices and played little boys as well.[1]
Davis acted on-camera beginning in the 1950s, with appearances on Dr. Kildare, Perry Mason, Ben Casey, The Fugitive, and The Invaders. Later guest turns include Barney Miller, The Bob Newhart Show, Alice, The Facts of Life, and Punky Brewster. Film credits include WarGames (as Matthew Broderick's mother). As a voice actress, she dubbed the title role in the 1973 US release of Pippi Longstocking and was heard for Hanna-Barbera on The Skatebirds (Dooley Lawrence in "Wonder Wheels" segments) and C.B. Bears (voicing the unseen "Charlie" à la Charlie's Angels).
