Susan Doyle Tolis is a costume and puppet builder who worked for the Muppet Workshop on several projects during the mid-1990s.
An alumnus of the University of Connecticut's Puppet Arts and Costume Designs programs, Tolis has also worked for Disney, NETWorks Presentations, the Lincoln Center Theatre, the Boston Ballet, and other companies. She has since returned to her alma mater as an instructor of costume construction and as costume shop supervisor at UConn's Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Tolis also sculpts a series of fantasy characters and related art known as "Fernwood Faeries."
