Susi Claus with Schnatterinchen
Susi Claus, also credited as Susanne Claus, is a German puppeteer and voice actress who performed minor characters on the Sesamstrasse spin-offs Eine Möhre für Zwei and Pizza mit Biss. Beginning in 2020, she has performed Abby Cadabby in new scenes on Sesamstrasse itself, and dubbed her in the German dub of Mecha Builders.
Claus performs the duck Schnatterinchen on Unser Sandmännchen and MiWau the cat on Moppi und MiWau. On the reality show Puppenstars (a competitive talent show for puppeteers, with Martin Reinl as one of the judges), Claus coached contestants and, for the 2022 season hosted by Thomas Gottschalk, played his puppet sidekick Betsy. She has directed her own puppet productions for the stage.
