Chef, a younger, animated version of The Swedish Chef first appears on Disney Junior's Muppet Babies in the season two episode "The Great Muppet Cook-Off." Chef would later serve foul meatballs in the episode "Meatball Mayhem."
Chef appears to be somewhat more competent in his culinary skills than his adult counterpart. His food is generally well-received by the Muppet Babies, he is very willing to listen to advice on how to improve, and he offers useful culinary advice to others, especially Piggy. As such, given his more serious approach to cooking, his only comic gags (and the only personality traits he shares with his adult counterpart) are his trademark mock Swedish language and throwing his cooking utensils after he has finished singing.
