The TV Kids Summer Festival is an event held by World Screen, a news company covering international media business.

The 2021 festival — held between June 7-10 — featured Ed Wells, executive VP and head of global media and education for Sesame Workshop, and Cookie Monster.

Cookie is asked how he got the gig on The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. He jests that there was an extensive audition process of monsters, before commenting that Elmo simply asked him. Told that the show is in its 50th season, he corrects that it's actually in its 51st, before listing "we have winter, spring, summer, fall, other 47." Cookie talks favourably of sharing recipes on screen, but draws the line at Oscar's sardine smoothies, "take a hard pass at that."
