As with many of the Sesame Street human characters, Alan needs help! True, he hasn't been there from day one like Bob and Susan, but going into his ninth season as a regular, can more than a paragraph be said about him? How does he differ from previous Hooper's Store owners? Does anyone recall how he was introduced? Does he have any hobbies or interests outside of the store?
