Sesame newsletter

This is just a joke. But I wanted to park it here in case it comes up. Every Sesame Family Newsletter ends with a trivia note at the bottom. The one sent out on December 17, 2008 included the following:

“True or false?

Ernie and Bert were named for the police officer and the taxicab driver in It's a Wonderful Life.

Answer: False. Sesame writers insist it's just a coincidence. Of course, we don't have to believe them.”
