Right Hands[]

The credits section mentions that Bruce Lanoil performed the right hands of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Rowlf on Muppets Tonight. What is the source for this? As far as I can remember (and I haven't seen any of the UK spots), Rowlf only appeared in one epsiode, playing the piano, and from what I've read, whenever Rowlf played the piano a second performer perfornmed both hands, so if it's true that Bruce Lanoil performed his right hand, I think he would have also performed the left hand. --Minor muppetz 00:08, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Regardless of where it came from, we decided that we don't track such things unless they're commonly known such as in The Swedish Chef. —Scott (talk) 15:04, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Looking at this page again, there are a lot of entries credited as puppet assistance. Should we take them all out? Is there a source for any of them? —Scott (talk) 16:49, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
The Muppet Show Live info comes from the MuppetZine issue, which transcribes the playbill credits. The rest seems to have come from Bill Sherman's old lists, some of which came from e-mails to puppeteers, but all of which is tricky to trace now. Even if it's accurate, I agree that it's not worth tracking when we have no idea how often or consistent it was, just as half a dozen people played Rowlf's hands at various times on ''The Muppet Show; Muppet Show Live might be a worthwhile exception, as a one-time production and with sourced info. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:41, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

A website called 'Shop A Save' (see http://www.shopasave.co.za/index.php?Type_Code=ProductInfo&Itemcode=D02672 ) claim that Lanoil was among the additional puppeteers for Muppet Treasure Island itself. Does anyone have any other evidence to support this as being true? Emma 22:56, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

They're a shopping site, not a database or a sourced resource. I don't see any reason to believe them. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 22:58, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Um, isn't that photo from "Muppets On Wheels," not "Wheels That Go"? GrantHarding 12:47, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, good catch. If you see something like that, you can just go ahead and fix it. -- Danny Toughpigs 16:17, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Well, I wasn't sure. GrantHarding 18:51, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Yeah... The wiki's getting busy, so there's a lot of proofreading that needs to be done. -- Danny Toughpigs 19:06, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
