Episode page[]
To the fine folks at Muppet Wiki:
I, Spock80, have recently created the page for a Sesame Street episode -- specifically, Episode 2880. I have done so mainly out of curiosity toward the episode's contents. The thoughts of Episode 2880 have really bugged me for some time now, and I hope someone here at Muppet Wikia could perhaps fill me in.
Also, I seemed to have goofed up in trying to create the heading for the episode page. And I hope that I could also receive some aid in that regard as well.
Thanks to Muppet Wiki. -- User:Spock80
- Hi! Thanks for bringing it up. Unfortunately, we actually don't create pages based merely on curiosity. For one thing, do you have a source that the entries you've included so far actually aired in the episode? Otherwise, except for very early episodes (where we rely heavily on archive descriptions), we don't usually create pages to list two or three segments and hope someone else can fill it in (rather, we just have to wait until someone with that episode can create the page).
- As far as headings though, first take a look at Template:Episodesesame and copy and paste the code on that page and fill in accordingly. For the table, the code follows this format:
{| class="episode" |- ! Picture !! Segment !! Description |- |[[Image:filename1.jpg|200px|center]] |Segment type {cartoon, Muppets, street scene, etc.) |Description text |-
- You repeat until you're finished describing everything, and close the table with |} after the last entry. If you need more help, take a look at pages like Episode 0001 and study the coding. Also, this page will most likely be deleted for lack of info or source, but even if we keep it, it wouldn't belong in the episode guides category. That's only for episode pages that are already *fully* complete, with every image and no segment lacking. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 04:30, June 15, 2011 (UTC)
