What's the source for Ed McMahon and Robin Leach voicing themselves in this episode? They're not credited. Footage of McMahon from Star Search is used but you never see him speaking. He announces Baby Piggy in voiceover which would have been an easy thing for him to provide for the episode, and to me it does sound like him, but we should have a source if we're going to say it's him definitively.
Ditto for Leach, except in this case there's no archive footage, and the voice that's supposed to be him doesn't like like it's really Leach to me. —Scott (contact) 22:05, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
- (By the way, I feel like we might have discussed this before, but I couldn't find the talk page anywhere.) —Scott (contact) 22:06, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, Scott and I discussed this back in 2010, here. My conclusion at the time was that it definitely was McMahon, based on voice comparisons with real McMahon work (voice and otherwise), but definitely not Robin Leach (the show frequently used its regular voices who were also accomplished impersonators, primarily Frank Welker and to some extent Greg Berg, for celebrity voices or re-loops of stock footage). I'll take another listen later, but Leach should be taken out as far as voicing himself. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 19:07, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
