Just info parking this here. There's an Eric Jacobson credited on Grover's Monster Album, and another one who worked on Muppet*Vision 3D as evidenced by the caption on this photo from the Summer 1991 issue of Disney News magazine. —Scott

Birthdate[]
A user who's been banned previously for being unreliable came back today, and added a birthdate for Eric Jacobson. This date was also recently added to the Wikipedia article by an anon contributor. Is there a way to verify this birthdate? I can't find anything in Google. -- Danny (talk) 23:48, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

UNIMA[]
So, according to the UNIMA website, Jim Henson did not in fact found UNIMA -- it was founded in 1929 in Czechoslovakia! Hence my ellipsis in the bio paragraph.
"UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette) was formed in Prague, Czechoslovakia, in 1929 by an enthusiastic group of representatives from 14 countries. After a hiatus during and after World War II, UNIMA was re-activated and in 1957 a new constitution was drafted. ... In 1966, with more than one hundred members of UNIMA in the United States, UNIMA-USA was formed with Jim Henson as its first chairman. Jim Henson led a UNIMA-USA committee of Frank Ballard, Bil Baird, Nancy Staub and Allelu Kurten in incorporating UNIMA-USA into a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, UNIMA-USA, Inc., in 1979." Bert in 1997[]
What sources are there about Jacopson performing Bert in 1997? I thought that Eric Jacopson didn't start performing Frank Oz's characters untill 2001. Maybe Jacopson performed Bert at times when Oz dubbed the vocie later, but if he did start performing the voice, I would think that I would have known about it sometime before 2001. --Minor muppetz 16:18, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
