What version of the book did this summary come from? My copy doesn't have Little Bird or Mrs. Washington, but I've got Big Bird knocking down Susan's clothesline. β€” Scott (talk) 06:07, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

It's been a long time since I last read my copy of the book, but my copy is the first cover. Mrs. Washington did look similar to Susan. The name Mrs. Washington was used when it was included in Three Sesame Street Stories. Since it's been awhile since I last read the actual book, it's possible that the name was changed for the video (on that same video, in The City Worm and the Country Worm, Slimey was called Squirmy, even though he had his usual name in the book version), but I am pretty sure that Little Bird was in the book as well (those videos used artwork from the books, and pretty much didn't create any new images for the videos). --Minor muppetz 14:33, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
It was "Mrs. Washington" on the video only; Fran Brill provided the voice. -- MuppetDude 18:04, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Not only that, Little Bird was NOT in the original book version. They just reused illustrations of him from Big Bird and Little Bird's Big & Little Book to pad out the story to an extended length. I should know; I had both books when I was a kid. --Wile e2005 18:48, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
