Why don't we call this Anything Muppet pattern "Yellow Green"? -- Peter 21:03, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Well,it's not consistent, and if anything should be changed, it's the statement here. See Character Style Guides. The 1973 version used Green, plain and simple. The 1979 version's cover, which was uploaded earlier but now removed, used Green as a blanket term for Sherlock Hemlock and the like, but "yellow green" for the specific tone. The only reason we use things like "Orange Gold" elsewhere is because the color is the only terminology available. But for the most part, the style guides use Green to denote the general class. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:13, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Text already changed. I don't know about getting a better picture, though. From the style guides, that's probably the best, and in context with the new text explanation, I don't see how it's misleading. At some point the whole page should be turned into a proper gallery, though, ala Fat Blue, Orange Gold, etc., to allow for better comparison of how the pattern has been used. By the way, the 1979 in general was more specific on color tones, as a guide to the illustrators and painters for the proper color, but that wouldn't necessarily be identical to the foam and fleece puppet versions. So Fat Blue is described as Warm Blue, Pumpkin as Yellow-Orange, Lavender as Pale Lavender, etc. This all applies only to the colors themselves as reproduced in illustrations and merchandising, though, not the puppet pattern terms. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:20, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
