The first image and its info indicate that this "Proto Grover" never appeared on Sesame Street, but I own one Sesame Street sketch with Kermit and Grover, in which Grover looks exactly like the "Proto-Grover" on the page. (Kermit wants to talk about the number 9 and persuades Grover to assist him by fetching one cube after another.) If anyone's interested in a screenshot, I could try to upload it. -- Sven H. 03 Mar 2006 (UTC)

:Actually, though this page needs some fleshing out, nothing indicates that Proto Grover was never on Sesame Street, just that this was the first one, and his first appearance was on Ed Sullivan. The one you're probably thinking of is Fuzzyface, who should be mentioned here, and whose appearances are indeed still available. --Andrew, Aleal 22:06, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

::You're completely right - I was talking about Fuzzyface ... I'm from Germany, and until now I was not aware that the early Grover was called that way. I guess, in our dubbed version there never has been any other name than "Grobi", although in this particular sketch I referred to, he isn't given any name, but maybe Kermit's dialogue contains a loose translation of "fuzzyface". -- Sven H. 03 Mar 2006 (UTC)
