I see Sesame Street people?[]
IMDb says that Haley was on Sesame Street, playing somebody called Peter Lane. But it doesn't say when, or for how many episodes. Does anybody know more about this? -- Ken (talk) 03:25, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
- That sounds made up to me. Other biographies for Osment say he did voices for Sesame Park, but they're most likely copied from IMDb which lists Sesame Park as an AKA title. I haven't been able to find a trustworthy source that doesn't look like it was copied from IMDb. - Yeah, that's been on IMDb for years, including when their Sesame Street cast list claimed Barney was a regular and all kinds of nonsense, false assumptions or just fake info. If anything outside of IMDb (and obvious IMDb cut and pastes) surfaces, though, that would be interesting. Most of the fake or unsourced stuff poofed when they switched to individual episode entries but not all of it is gone. It basically stays there until somebody tries to remove it, and even when provably false (in this case, we'd need proof that it's right but can't prove it didn't happen) it takes multiple tries to get something corrected. It's getting better and easier sometimes, but IMDb is still extremely variable and often unreliable unless it pertains to a series that has been fully documented elsewhere, every episode, or on DVD, and often times even then with gaps and errors; kind of like a movie Wikipedia but where you can't even trace the history to see what's been added and by whom. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 04:28, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
