On "Episodes that introduce characters", would Episode 0001 of Sesame Street count, since Gordon formally introduces Big Bird and Oscar to Sally, and also tells her about Ernie and Bert while he's standing outside their window? -- Ken (talk) 04:53, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

:::Yeah, that seems a little much since the point of the "introductory episodes" list seems to cover those which establish premise and/or introduce all new characters. I added links to the relevant episodes and took out the "So and so introduces" notes (since for things like Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Dinosaurs, etc. that was the whole point; Muppets Tonight and Little Muppet Monsters combined old characters with new ones, who were introduces and the new shows' premise explained as a first-time event in the first episodes). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 04:40, June 26, 2012 (UTC)

::::Okay, so on Sesame Street, we're only naming characters like Mr. Snuffalupagus who were introduced later on, but not detailing who was introduced in the very first show? I wasn't clear what you meant when you said "That should be fixed" in your post above. -- Ken (talk) 05:29, June 26, 2012 (UTC)

Question

On "Episodes that introduce characters", would Episode 0001 of Sesame Street count, since Gordon formally introduces Big Bird and Oscar to Sally, and also tells her about Ernie and Bert while he's standing outside their window? -- Ken (talk) 04:53, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

It's already covered in the earlier section, on shows with introductory episodes, but no links given to the relevant episode(s). That should be fixed. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 05:55, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
I had debated on whether this page should note characters who got proper introductions in the first episode (such as Miss Piggy introducing Andy and Randy Pig to Clifford in the first episode of Muppets Tonight). --Minor muppetz (talk) 19:03, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
