On this page and those of David Arquette, Elliot Gould and Dan Payne, the claim is made that they are the only four actors to appear on-camera in two feature-length Muppet productions. But Jerry Nelson has on-camera speaking parts in both Great Muppet Caper and Muppet Treasure Island. I understand that he's a Muppet performer, but surely he qualifies for inclusion on that list too.

One of four?

On this page and those of David Arquette, Elliott Gould and Dan Payne, the claim is made that they are the only four actors to appear on-camera in two feature-length Muppet productions. But Jerry Nelson has on-camera speaking parts in both Great Muppet Caper and Muppet Treasure Island. I understand that he's a Muppet performer, but surely he qualifies for inclusion on that list too. -- User:ZeppoMarxist 10:23, September 28, 2007

Yeah, I suppose so long as we're counting Elliot Gould and Dan Payne for cameos, we should be counting Jerry Nelson, too. Good catch! —Scott (talk) 15:12, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Although, it now occurs to me that Jim and Frank both qualify. Should we change the wording to something like "these are the actors to have made on-camera appearances other than Henson company regulars?" Or should we just include them all? Or should we only include speaking roles? —Scott (talk) 15:15, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
I don't think Muppeteer cameos should count. So either reword as option one, or just take it out (the initial claim, from either Wikipedia or IMDb, was only for Elliot Gould and Arquette, I think). -- 20:10, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
We could change it to something like "one of four non-Muppet performers to appear in two feature-length Muppet films"--Anthony 04:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
