Errata?

Scan-120422-0001

p. 27 of Jim Henson: The Guy Who Played With Puppets

Are there ever sections for inaccuracies in these children-oriented bios? This one is not too terrible an offender, but it does feature this illustration of Jim performing Oscar the Grouch.Wiesnerc 21:52, April 22, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, we have tracked inaccuracies in such bios before (see The Value of Imagination#Errata). -- Brad D. (talk) 21:59, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
I love that picture, however, despite that Caroll Spinney had reported long ago that Jim did perform Oscar once in Season 1 when he was sick, I agree that it is a bit misleading. Like Brad said, we do have sections covering errata found in non-fiction books like Street Gang and Jim Henson: The Works. After reading this myself, I didn't find too many out and out wrong facts, but it does carry some misinterpreted info which I think merits it's own "Errata" or "Notes" section, whichever is better (There is one point where it says Jim "assisted" with the TMNT costumes which we know is not correct. I can't remember the others; I'd have to find what I noted down). -- Jon (talk) 22:24, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
