Kermit and Koch[]
Does anyone know what event this picture of Kermit with Ed Koch is from? -- Brad D. (talk) 14:36, March 16, 2012 (UTC)
- Where did you get it? —Scott (message me) 17:38, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
- It comes from the book New York Comes Back: The Mayoralty of Edward I. Koch. -- Brad D. (talk) 14:06, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
- If it's in stock at a local bookstore, one of us might be able to check it out and see if there's any context provided. I'll try to remember next time I'm at a B&N. —Scott (message me) 21:32, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
- A different photo from the same event is available through the New York City Department of Records, the municipal archives. Its from June 1983, and they claim (though I don't see him) that Fred Rogers is there. Anyone in NYC want to visit the archives? Ask for eik_08.010.0906, on shelf MA088. -- Zanimum 14:59, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Another photo IDs this as a "proclamation". -- Zanimum 15:08, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

- Big Bird hung with Koch, at a kids neighbourhood art contest ceremony in 1981. -- Zanimum 15:00, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Aside from the beard and height, this doesn't look like Henson to me. Would it be? -- Zanimum 15:08, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
You're right, it's definitely not Jim in that last picture. Here are the relevant photos in case we find out what they're from. — Julian (talk) 18:33, April 12, 2012 (UTC)
