Currently this page is just merely a disambiguation page for few the Macy's related articles that we actually have. There have been several Marketing Tie-Ins with Macy's - from parades and window displays to exclusive in-store merchandise and promotions. I think someone could flesh out an article describing the Macy's/Muppet connection (see Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) discussing the connection the Muppets, Sesame Street and other Henson works have with Macy's. -- Brad D. - This is a little confusing to me, though. No offense, Brad, but if you think a Macy's article is worth creating, why don't you do it? Both the Windows and Parade pages could use some clarification, especially the windows, on the nature of Macy's rotating displays and so on, but I'm not sure this is an attention issue really. Especially as Macy's has absolutely no connection beyond the three items in the gallery. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:59, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Never mind, I went ahead and did a basic article, which is what most of the marketing tie-ins are anyway. Can I remove the tag? -- Andrew Leal (talk) 22:07, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's a good basic start for it - just like anyother Marketing Tie-In page. I think there have been some other pieces of exclusive in-store merchandise (Kermit and Sesame stuff mainly tied into supporting the corresponding parade balloons) but I don't have any details on them. -- Brad D.
