Performer?

I don't intend to start one of these again, but does anyone have a video of the episode to confirm who performs this character? -- Jon (talk) 20:05, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

Episode 1285 can be purchased through iTunes. It's not Frank Oz (Max's first guess, in July) and it doesn't sound at all like Fran Brill to me either. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 20:19, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Well, it can't be either Frank Oz or Fran Brill. I'd safely say it's Kathryn Mullen performing Mrs. Balinski. Did you guys have any idea who performed her in that episode? -- Maxwell Goudiss (talk) 20:22, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Her voice is hard to make out clearly; it's overshadowed by the rain SFX. The lip-sync is also off on her; so it could be that someone else (who can do a Polish accent) dubbed her voice before or after. - Oscarfan 20:25, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Here's her speaking line for reference if anyone wants to take a crack at it. - Oscarfan 20:33, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, it doesn't sound like any Muppeteer voice I'm familiar with. This is likely to be a longshot, but could it be Olga Felgemacher? -- Jon (talk) 20:05, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Sounds like Carmen Osbahr to me. —Scott (message me) 03:17, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

It does, but I didn't consider that since technically it couldn't be Osbahr; she wasn't around for Season 10, after all ;) Anyway, the voice doesn't sound like either Kathy Mullen or Cheryl Blaylock who were both around for that season, so that's basically why I considered Olga Felgemacher (I'll need to really look in to that before I come to that conclusion though). -- Jon (talk) 20:05, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

My bad. I didn't look at the article. Just saw the file posted and commented without thinking. *Hits self with frying pan over head* —Scott (message me) 17:46, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
That's okay. Here (at 0:23) is a bit of Felgemacher's role "Didi" from Shining Time Station for comparison. The two characters sound very similar to me, even though they're different accents. -- Jon (talk) 18:28, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
