repackaged?[]
Wikipedia claims that the MuppeTelevision segments have been repackaged without any of the other JHH material. I seem to recall reading something like this on either the MC or TP boards as having aired in possibly Canada or Australia (where The Muppet Show and Muppets Tonight have been airing uncut for some months). Does anyone have more information? -- Scott (talk) 16:15, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Just caught "The Ratings Game" on CTS (an independent Christian station) in Canada. They usually run the syndicated Muppet Show at this time and I decided to pop it on for a bit of classic Muppets and was pleasantly surprised to find Muppet Television. So, yes, it has been repackaged as part of the syndicated package. I missed the beginning so I'm not sure about titles, openings, etc. I've set the TIVO to tape it for the rest of the week, so I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have. -- CanadaMuppet, July 12, 2006
- They change the opening title to read "The Jim Henson Show," and they trim Jim's intro so that he's only talking about the first half of the show. --GrantHarding 03:02, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
redirect[]
Should MuppeTelevision be redirecting to the Jim Henson Hour page? I haven't seen enough of the show to provide a description, but it seems like an entity deserving its own article.--Pantalones 05:48, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- I cancelled the redirect for now, because it interfered with getting to this talk page.--Pantalones 05:49, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know, it strikes me that the basic info about the segment is available in the episode guides or character pages, though I suppose an expansion on the main The Jim Henson Hour page is in order. As with most things on the wiki, though, pages will often be redirects until someone finds enough to say about a topic (I know I've done it a few times). That's my feeling, anyway. --Andrew, Aleal 05:50, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- This discussion has been dormant for a couple weeks, so I'm going to restore the redirect for now. If somebody wants to expand this into an article, then feel free. -- Danny Toughpigs 19:38, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
