Rare note

"Ol' Brown Ears is Back is currently out of print. Copies of the now-rare album have been known to sell for over a hundred dollars in online auctions."

Do we need to say this? It's no more rare than any of the other CD's that were out during that period, and they were all pulled at the same time. And I've seen huge sums for any number of Muppet records and CD's from 1970 to now. It's part of being in the "kiddie record" market. Out of print Disney titles have a similar rarity. Any other thoughts? -- Ken (talk) 04:19, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree. It's not even sourced or anything. Ol' Brown Ears was a bit more rare than other Muppet albums of the time like Muppet Hits or Muppet Beach Party, but it doesn't make much difference at this point. -- Danny@fandom (talk) 06:17, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

LP release?

Was this ever an LP release? Maybe we should mention these tracks were lost for years until the CD release. Scooter 22:14, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Were the tracks actually "lost" until the release, or were they just "held on to" (or "saved for 9-years") until they were finally release? -- Brad D. (talk) 22:18, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
According to the facts provided in the booklet, they were recorded and just never used until the Henson comapany started branching out and made Jim Henson Records. For all we know, there could be hours of "lost" recorded material in the archives, but it's just the fans that they're lost to. — Scott (talk) 22:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
I think that's notable, though. We should put that in the article. It was a "new" album of Henson material, released three years after his death. -- Danny (talk) 23:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
The info's already there. I can't see how to say more about it without adding speculation. — Scott (talk) 23:44, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
