The New Flathead Kermit: Lazy Eye Kermit[]

There's not really a place on the wiki for Flathead Kermit other than in the ToughPigs.com article link at the bottom of this page, so I'd like to use this talk page to collect instances of another rising problem. I present you: Lazy Eye Kermit (because "Strabismic Kermit" just doesn't have that ring to it)!

Kermit's right-eye pupil is alarmingly drifting off to varying degrees; and I hope he's got a good optometrist!

The only instance that I could find where they digitally fixed the problem is this (the change becomes evident when you superimpose them on an identical angle). And they probably did a better job than I did when tweaking the image on this wiki's current background (see directly on the right!):

But even though the problem was caught that one time, it still persists. I'm amazed that none of the folks in charge seem to care, especially when it comes to the promotion of the new film! But then again, they signed off on Sticking-Out-Extended-Tongue Kermit to be used on the domestic DVD cover and international posters:

And I didn't even touch on the character size relations issue. Sheesh!Julian (talk) 12:43, February 23, 2012 (UTC)

Not to mention Kermit's freakishly long, KISS tongue on the dvd cover. Blech! --Justin 14:06, February 29, 2012 (UTC)

Kermit — adjusted.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say (see above images)! — Julian (talk) 21:59, March 5, 2012 (UTC)
Interestingly, they adjusted Kermit's tongue and upper lip section for the cover of the upcoming UK DVD release final cover of the film.
Unfortunately, all these digital changes make him look a lot like poor old Flathead Kermit again. To avoid this, they would've had to pull the eyes down along with the lip!
Poor Kermie, what they do to you... — Julian (talk) 22:30, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
