PJ and Lindy

Anybody know if P.J. and Lindy are the same puppet? The bodies and heads look the same to me, though the facial features are different. --Minor muppetz 04:16, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

Doesn't quite look like it to me; Lindy's head looks rounder than P.J's. Although I can't see that much else of a difference between them, I don't think they're the same puppet. -- Jon (talk) 16:31, October 18, 2011 (UTC)
I can see the resemblance with the ears, but given the time elapsed between the projects, it's as likely that P.J. no longer existed and they just used a similar pattern, in the great Whatnot tradition, so we don't really count those (anymore than we do for Anything Muppets). This is for cases where the puppet was reused with few alterations or at least still provably Same Puppet, Different Character (Whatnot-like situations only apply if it's the same Whatnot unchanged or just with costume and so on, ala Clarissa and Loni Dunne). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:07, October 18, 2011 (UTC)

Samson

I wonder if Samson and Simson has to be added, as gerany used an oldr version for Simson (samson's cousin) or doesn't it count for already foreing muppets?Pino 00:20, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Using an older double doesn't count, since the same has been done with Fozzie's Cousin, Grover's Mommy, etc., or even things like The Mechanical Wind-up TV Show Host. Only if a single character's puppet itself has been recycled as a different character. If Samson were to be dropped entirely and his regular puppet resurfaces on another Muppet series as "Professor Flugelhorn," then it would count. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 00:33, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
And what about Da Niao, he is reused as Garibaldo in Brasil? (Greetings Paul 18:07, July 23, 2010 (UTC))
