The Auditioning Performers

Okay, I've been wondering what the source is regarding the fact that Richenda Carey and Abby Hadfield were the performers who auditioned in episodes of The Muppet Show. I know that Muppet Central's episode guide for The Muppet Show mentions that these are the auditioning performers, but are there any other known sources, or could those sources have possibly been personal correspondences? --Minor muppetz 19:23, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

The Muppet Central guides were written by a fan named D.W. McKim who hasn't surfaced on any of the forums in years. He used to sell script/transcript hybrids on eBay, the former part of that assumingly from official sources. If that's the case, then this information I would imagine comes from those scripts. I can't really be 100% sure though. —Scott (talk) 19:38, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
It's hard to imagine, though, that a script would specify who performed each specific character. --Minor muppetz 20:20, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
I think DW McKim's sources are usually reckoned to be pretty authorative. He's one of those old stalwert fans who was around on the internet for absolutely years. I'm sure Danny would have some idea. Emma 21:50, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm sure D.W. would be telling the truth, but it's still good for us to try to track down his sources. Just because I believe in D.W. doesn't mean that our readers will trust somebody they don't know. -- Danny (talk) 22:32, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
