Performers[]

This is kind of a general Sweetums question, but do we always assume that he was performed by Richard Hunt even when he didn't speak, as in this number?

Also, it appears that only seven Muppet Performers were credited for this episode, but there are six full-bodied Muppets in addition to the Vile Bunch playing in the background. Do we know where the extra sets of hands would have come from in such a case? -- Peter (talk) 16:52, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

For Sweetums, from all sources, there's no indication that he was ever played by anyone but Richard Hunt. That doesn't mean there wasn't a stand-in at some point, but since it's not a case where only speaking parts can be consistently assumed to be the main performer, I think this is one of the few cases where we can assume it's him *unless* we have proof otherwise. On the other hand, some users have been adding to the cast lists names of regular characters who appear silently in the background or in a chorus line and so on, often with other characters played by that performer, so we shouldn't assume of those. Also, many episodes involve full bodied performers/dancers for the elaborate dance numbers, but only a handful are ever credited, so there's no way to be sure at this point (without asking Karen Falk or someone with access to records and such to investigate. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:42, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
I can't remember were I heard it, but they mainly used the puppet builders to perform extra background characters. BTW Peter I just remembered that you asked a similar question here Talk:Episode_212:_Bernadette_PetersHenrik (talk) 22:26, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
